Field Marketing and Event Management Experience

I have been an experiential event marketing professional, primarily in management roles, for over 15 years. During this time, I’ve successfully executed more than 1,000 events, consistently leading teams that exceeded key performance indicators (KPIs)—whether in sales, lead generation, engagement, or conversion rates. I’ve built a solid reputation for my dedication, deep product knowledge, and a "get-it-done" attitude, fostering strong, lasting relationships with the brands I’ve represented.

From co-managing a ZYN pop-up store in Chicago to bringing energy to a private Nas concert for Hennessy in Detroit, my event experience has been as diverse as it is extensive. I’ve driven a 26-ft box truck across the country to set up a 16-team soccer tournament for Adidas, engaged fans at a country concert in Arizona with Snus, and distributed Jim Beam around Wrigleyville during the World Series. I’ve gathered leads for Buick at auto shows nationwide, launched a greenhouse activation for Belvedere in Miami, shared Hall of Fame baseball artifacts with fans in St. Louis, and welcomed CEOs to CES for Samsung SDS. Whatever the setting, I’ve commanded the space and ensured each event ran flawlessly—at least from the consumer’s perspective!

Event management has taken me across the country, allowing me to connect with nearly every subset of American culture. The experiences and insights I’ve gained are invaluable, and I’m grateful for the incredible events I’ve been a part of. Below is a small sampling of the many brands I’ve had the privilege to work with.

Moët Hennessy

Moët Hennessy is the brand I’ve had the longest-standing relationship with, dating back to 2009 when I first joined their team after responding to a Craigslist ad.

I initially started as a Brand Ambassador but was quickly promoted to On-Site Manager, becoming an integral part of their special events team. Over the years, the brand has transitioned through a few marketing agencies, but I’ve remained a constant presence due to my high level of professionalism and in-depth brand knowledge.

While our roles required us to be fun and outgoing, the primary focus was always on educating consumers about the Moët Hennessy portfolio and driving sales. The teams I led consistently excelled, regularly surpassing our drink conversion KPI of 30% and earning positive feedback from both accounts and clients.

Jim Beam

Jim Beam holds a special place in my heart—not only for its rich American brand story but also for introducing me to some of my closest friends. Over the years, I’ve served as a Team Lead for Jim Beam activations across Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, and Oregon. And yes, I’m more than willing to travel for bourbon!

Despite the brand transitioning through several marketing companies, I’ve remained a trusted member of their team. Beyond leading activations, I’ve also provided administrative support, including data entry, account outreach, report writing, scheduling, and competitor scouting, assisting four city managers and a field manager.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned from my time with Jim Beam is that sometimes less is more—and that it’s essential to always have a plan B (and C). These experiences have sharpened my problem-solving skills and adaptability, which I carry into every project.

Swedish Match

Since 2016, I’ve toured with Swedish Match to promote their products, ZYN and Snus, across the country. Our activations involved setting up and tearing down a branded trailer at each event, with a primary focus on increasing brand awareness and driving sales at concerts, sporting events, and trade shows.

In 2018, I was honored to be selected to help launch and develop a new market for ZYN by co-managing a pop-up store in Chicago. This role allowed me to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the brand’s growth in an exciting and impactful way.

Adidas

In 2019, I had the opportunity to manage my first tour, which proved to be both the most physically and mentally demanding project I've taken on to date, yet incredibly rewarding. We orchestrated 16 team soccer tournaments across nine cities nationwide for seasons one and two of the Adidas Tango League Tour.

As the project manager, I oversaw all logistical aspects of the tour, including travel coordination, while training and leading a team of 12 brand ambassadors in each city. Additionally, I served as the primary brand liaison, liaising with venues and engaging with fans. This event was particularly special as it united an international audience, and the amateur nature of the competition fueled a palpable passion on the pitch, making each tournament unforgettable.
